- Notation, Domain , range , mapping & diagram
- Recognition of the linear, quadratic, cubic, reciprocal, exponential, absolute value ,
trigonometric, logarithmic functions from the shape of their graphs
- Finding the quadratic function given
- vertex and another point , x - intercepts and a point , vertex or x-intercept with a = 1.
- Asymptotes
- Use of GDC to sketch graphs & to find zeroes, local maxima , local minima , intersection of graphs of functions.
- Composition of functions and inverse functions
- Transformation of functions excluding horizontal dilation
